This summer, RiverPark Center's theatre academy (see Y.A.T.A. page) in Owensboro, Kentucky, discovers new mysteries and fantastic educational opportunities during the International Mystery Writers’ Festival , "Discovering New Mysteries". The RiverPark Center will launch brand new works for stage and screen and you can be a part of it with hands-on professional development programs.

This festival promises to create a unique real-world educational theatre experience for anyone in the areas of literature, writing, theatre, lighting, and technical performance. As an Education professional , you will observe the development of new plays, work with legendary mystery writers and theatre professionals from around the country. Professional development activities and master classes - supported by the Governor’s Office and the Commonwealth of Kentucky - will range from creative writing, acting, directing, dance and stage movement, and vocal training. This Professional Development offering cannot be found anywhere but the RiverPark Center in Owensboro, Kentucky.
